Phase 1
In Phase One of our program, participants spend a minimum of two months at one of our U-Turn For Christ ranch locations. Participants stay in military-style quarters, one large room filled with bunks. This type of housing promotes healthy fellowship. “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17). Participants participate in morning devotions, daily chores, volunteer community service, evening Bible study, and nightly personal devotion time throughout the day.
Phase 2
Phase Two of our program is six months long and comes with two possible paths to travel. Some return to work, pay a monthly donation and attend church with first phase participants in the evening. Others are chosen to commit six months of service to the Lord and are provided for by the ministry. This last choice comes with considerable sacrifice. Servants of Christ can be called on at all times to serve in many different ways. The six-month period does not have to be the end. Many who return to work will stay a year or more, choosing a higher level of accountability and fellowship for their lives. Many who have stayed to serve in ministry now do at other U-Turn for Christ facilities in the United States and worldwide.

U-Turn For Christ’s Mission
U-Turn's goal is to teach individuals to be independent, self-supporting, and stable under the Lordship of Jesus Christ by becoming an asset to their family, church, friends, employers, schools, and society.
Most enrollees come to U-Turn For Christ after hitting their life's "bottom," and some are ready to do whatever is necessary to have Jesus Christ restore their lives and give them peace again. We have found with men and women prepared to give up, "leaning on their own understanding," and completely surrender themselves to the Lord's work for eight months, their lives are never the same.
Supporters of the ministry
Our ministry has worked with trustworthy churches and pastors for over the course of 25 years. A few examples are John Randall from Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano, Ken Graves from Calvary Chapel Bangor, Maine, and many more. We are here to help and serve your loved ones as they go through the journey of overcoming addiction.
“ U-Turn stresses that freedom over drugs and alcohol comes through one source, and that’s Jesus Christ.”

SUCCESS STORIES
Alyssa
I’m not here to glorify where I’ve been or what I’ve done. I’m here to shed some light on the work God has done in me and for my life. Before U-Turn For Christ, my life was a playground for the enemy. My days were drowned in booze, men, parties, and drugs…
Pastor Erin and Rosie Winemiller
"I remember I was reading through the book of Matthew. The leper comes to Jesus and says, 'Lord, If your willing make me clean,' and Jesus said 'I am willing, be clean', and it hit me like a ton of bricks."
Kimberly
My name is Kimberly Nelson. I grew up in New Mexico and was involved in church from a young age. I had never really been a troublemaker. I experienced alcohol at 19, and addiction became a stronghold in my life…
